Thats a wrap! My MiG-25 build is finally complete! A build long in the making finally comes to an end. This kit is an absolute gem. The fitment was awesome and the Revell instructions are very informative and easy to understand. Assembly of this kit felt very modular to me as it came together in several large sections with only minimal tweeking, putty, and sanding work. The color code was a mixture of Tamiya base and marbled preshade coats topped with an MRP 189 Traffic Grey coat utilizing the same marbling principles. For the weathering, I stuck to my 3 step weathering process. Flory Models black wash, Tamiya weathering powders, and Windsor & Newton black oil wash followed up with a dull coat of Tamiya XF-86 Flat Clear. I started this project way back on Jan 25th. I didnt realize at the time that I would eventually be painting this monster with MRP paints. So, I had to order the paint from Sprue Brothers. A backorder ended up delaying this build for months while I waited for the products to come in the mail. Finally after months of waiting, its complete. And I couldn't be happier to finally share this beautiful piece of aviation history with you all! Enjoy!
