Il Baron Samedi ,il signore della morte, è uno dei Loa, le divinità vudù. E' il traghettatore dei morti secondo la tradizione haitiana.Il suo compito è quello di controllare il flebile divario che separa vivi e morti.

Baron Samedi, the lord of death, is one of the Loa, the voodoo deities. He is the ferryman of the dead according to Haitian tradition. His task is to control the faint gap that separates the living and the dead.
