This is a vlog of me changing my inverter pump on a 2006 Toyota Prius Gen 2.
Took me a bit to figure out but it was a success. The car is now fully functional and working!

✵ Backstory:

Driving on the freeway; all the uh-oh symbols on my dashboard and info screen came on; The triangle of death, the little red car with an exclamation mark, check engine light, etc.

I got off the freeway and called AAA and had them tow me home.

This is the same pump my brother fixed on his own Prius a few years ago, so with his support and after watching the work of some other awesome YouTubers... I decided to change it myself and It worked. :)

⨠ Replacement Water Pump
⨠ Ratchet Wrench
⨠ Sockets: 10mm - 13mm
⨠ Ratchet Extender Bars
⨠ Plyer's
⨠ Magnetic Metal Plate (or some kind of container to hold loose screws)
⨠ Fluid Clamps
⨠ Light (So you can see what you're doing!)
⨠ Gloves
⨠ Paper Toweling
⨠ Jar to catch any liquid from pump
⨠ Passion, Curiosity And a Love for Exploring Life ;)

⨠ Allen wrench set (I believe you only need the size 6. I can't remember lol.)
⨠ Clear plastic tubing. Size: 3/80 IN OD x 1/4 IN ID (Home depot. It's the one with the green tag.)
