We know that funding your studies is a significant factor when you are deciding if our BA (Hons) Early Childhood Education and Care degree and Norland diploma course right for you. In this session, Head of Finance Emma Burns will provide a comprehensive overview of the student finance process, various funding options and applying for an Emily Ward Bursary. In the past five years, almost £1m has been awarded to students in bursaries providing around on in four students with financial support to study to become a Norland Nanny.

Emma will also be joined by current students who will share their experiences of funding their studies at Norland, how they gain childcare experience by working alongside studying and provide tips on budgeting as a university student.

Second-year student Jess is a bursary holder and shares her budgeting advice, second-year student Beth shares her experience of studying at Norland as a mature student and first-year student Mimi shares her experience of taking a couple of years out to work in a nursery to save money before studying at Norland.
