Support for Miss Tibet dropping off Miss Global: Hundreds of netizens express support and love for Tenzin Paldon, who withdrew her from the Miss Global contest, an international beauty pageant held in Cambodia, after organizers and Cambodia reacted to pressure from China.

Tenzin Paldon's Reaction: Cyber Tibet speaks with Tenzin Paldon, how she was informed by the organization that she cannot use 'Tibet' as her country or not wear the Tibet labeled sash.

Message to Tibetans: Tenzin Paldon felt grateful receiving support from hundreds of Tibetans who were proud of her decision to withdraw from the pageant in order to keep 'Tibet' as the country she represented. They voted for her in the online poll to keep her in the top position.

China's Pressures Miss Tibet Contestants: Tashi Yangchen, Miss Tibet 2004, withdrew from the Miss Tourism pageant in Zimbabwe when she was asked to wear a sash that said 'Miss Tibet-China' in 2005, and similarly, in 2006, Tsering Chungtak, Miss Tibet 2006, withdrew from the Miss Tourism pageant in Malaysia, after Chinese government pressure on organizers.
