Brothers Mahdi and Ali Abed Hussaini are carving out a new life away from their war-torn homeland in Afghanistan. This is the Ōtāhuhu College students’ first year of carving, and already they have placed top ranks at this year's Ringa Toi Student Exhibition, the annual showcase of Māori artwork by secondary school students.
