The sport is an amalgamation of baseball and football and shares a lot of resemblances.
The basic objective of the game is to score more goals than the opponent.
Foot baseball is played between two teams of equal players in a baseball sized court with football balls and a mini goal.
One or two mini goals are placed at the base with the goalkeepers standing in them.
The game begins with the striker kicking the ball with their foot straight to the base.
In front of the goal and the goalkeeper, there is a defender waiting.
Once the ball comes at the defender after the strike, he tries to rebound the ball with his foot or any other part of his body except his hands.
A goal is scored with a certain number of points if the ball crosses the defender and the goalkeeper.
If the defender shoots the ball back, the striker struggles to gain possession.
Strikers must gain the bases not just by running throw lines but they also need to dribble some barriers to reach other bases.
Most of the points are like baseball and players from the defending team must stop the ball with body and feet except hands from getting to the base.
The teams switch after the inning and the fielding team gets to strike.
The game shares almost all the rules of baseball except that the game has a goal and goalkeeper and other players must shoot with their foot and other body parts except hands.
The team that scores the most points in the given duration of time is declared as the winner.
