Team Associated b6 ESC upgrade - HOBBYWING 10BL120 - Practice Run Video

Описание к видео Team Associated b6 ESC upgrade - HOBBYWING 10BL120 - Practice Run Video

Several weeks back I traded my Traxxas Ford Fiesta V1 for a Team Associated B6.1D on offer up (see video    • Was the trade on OFFER UP, worth IT? ...   ). I know that this RC is a little outdated but it is a lot of fun to drive. Previous electronics on the car were a Spectrum Receiver, REEDY 600z ESC, REEDY 17.5t motor.

I was running at SDRC and I notice that the ESC started to get hot the ESC would not send enough power to the motor to clear the jumps. This would happen about 4 minutes into driving the RC.

First thing I did was upgrade the receiver to a Futaba. I am currently running a 4PM Futaba Radio. Simple upgrade but it gives me more tunability for the steering and acceleration.

Next, I decided to upgrade the motor, per recommendations to a Hobbywing 10BL60. Unfortunately, at my local hobby store they were out of them and they only had the 10BL120 G2. Obviously, this ESC is has more than enough power to run the 17.5t. I also understand this would not pass tech if I was looking to race in the future.

The sole purpose of this RC car, is for me to learn how to drive and tune a 2wd buggy and learn how to drive on different types of clay, track size and different locations.

This is what makes RC driving fun. I hope you enjoy the video and if you have any suggestions on my next comp 2wd buggy should be, leave a comment below, subscribe and like.

Thank you for watching.
