Welcome to Powergenx.

In today’s video, we’re going to talk about Probiotics and Gut Health.
Our stomach contains millions of good bacteria, also known as probiotics. These bacteria play a key role in breaking down the food we eat, absorbing nutrients, strengthening our immune system, and even supporting our mental health. Yes, our gut and brain are deeply connected, so maintaining good gut health can positively impact your mind and heart as well.
However, several daily habits can damage your gut health. Eating too much junk food, taking antibiotics frequently, dealing with constant stress, not eating enough fiber, and a lack of proper sleep can all lead to gut imbalance.

To support your gut, include probiotic-rich foods in your diet, like curd and buttermilk. These foods naturally contain live bacteria that help improve your gut health. Along with probiotics, your body also needs prebiotics. Some common prebiotic foods include apples, chapati made with whole wheat, brown rice, onions, garlic, and bananas.

Maintaining gut health is not only about food. A healthy lifestyle plays a big role too. Make sure to include 30 to 40 grams of fiber in your daily diet. Get at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep every night. Regular exercise for 30 to 40 minutes a day also helps boost your digestion and metabolism. Avoid stress as much. Also, stay away from soda and processed foods, as they can harm the good bacteria in your stomach.

If your gut is healthy, your mind and heart will be healthy too. So take care of your digestive system, and it will take care of you in return.
