This year has been all about experimenting with my Palette Knives, trying to better understand the type of marks and textures I can achieve with them.

I’ve been seeing various Artists creating paintings using the Catalyst Silicone Wedge, and as I have been unable to get one where I am……I started using the next best thing….. my spatula I use for baking!!

I love painting Loose Abstract Flowers, and today I wanted to work on a painting using light and airy colours, lets see what we can achieve with my makeshift “Silicone Wedge”

With paintings like this I don’t have much of plan, just like to allow the painting to take me on a journey of self-discovery. I absolutely love the textures I can create with this, and how versatile the tool is
