I’ll do just about anything to catch trout. Even get over a lifelong phobia of motorbikes. The team from QuietKat showed me that their all-terrain electric bikes are easy to ride, and big fun in the backcountry. Perfect for packing-in to remote mountain lakes.

We started off at Black Mountain Colorado Dude Ranch outside of McCoy, CO—population 24. The NoHuddle team will be going back there for a future episode. Riding a horse is another personal fear I feel I need to face. Anyway, it’s an amazing location high in the Rockies.

I hadn’t been on a motorized bike since I was 15 years old; I was on the back of my best friend Dewey Water’s Suzuki, and wiped out taking a tight corner in the pouring rain. I swore I’d never get back on anything resembling a motorcycle again.

But the QuietKat dudes were amazing. And I ended up exhilarated and hooked, big-time.
