2020 Mercedes CLA vs 2019 A-Class. These two cars look the same, but the CLA is actually the larger of the two: It stretches out to 184.6 inches long and 72.0 inches wide, compared to the A-Class Sedan's 179.1-inch length and 70.7-inch width. The CLA, though, isn't as vertically tall: 56.7 inches versus 56.9 inches.

While there are noticeable differences between the A-Class Sedan and CLA on the outside, not even the keenest eye will be able to tell their two cabins apart. The inside of the A-Class Sedan and new CLA are identical – from the flat-bottomed steering wheel, to the trio of centrally located air vents, to the optional 10.3-inch MBUX infotainment system.
