PM Modi To Inaugurate NE’s 1st Highway Emergency Landing Strip In Moran, Other Infra Project In Assam

It is a historic day for the Northeast. The region is all set to get an air landing strip on a highway in Assam’s Dibrugarh district.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Emergency Landing Facility on the Moran Bypass in Dibrugarh, where he will witness the Aerial Display of Fighters, Transports and Helicopters. PM Modi will land at the landing strip at about 10:30 a marking a new chapter in the Indian Air Force’s operations in the region.
According to official sources, the Prime Minister will first arrive at the Chabua Air Force Base and then proceed to Moran, where he will land on the specially developed highway airstrip. Several fighter jets are also expected to land as part of the programme, while some will conduct fly-pasts.
