The story portrays the life of two careless men of chamars clam. Their attitude towards the family member and society is awful. when Madhav^s wife Bhudiya is in delivery pain, moaning and whirling they are thinking when she would die and they can be in peace. They waste the money given by the people to buy a shroud by drinking and eating a meal worth of feast. After the intoxication they sing dance jump leap and finally collapse. This is a pessimistic bleak story.
