The early days of Islam were challenging. His affiliation with the new faith strained his relationships within the Umayyad clan and put his business at risk. However, Uthman’s faith was unwavering. He used his wealth to support the Muslim community, helping to free slaves who had converted to Islam and were persecuted by their masters. His generosity and steadfast commitment to his beliefs earned him the nickname “Al-Ghani” (The Generous).
