Classical to Quantum | Kevin Limanta: Circle Integration over finite fields | Wild Egg Maths

In this video Dr Kevin Limanta introduces the algebraic approach to circle integration over finite fields. This is largely his PhD thesis, written in 2022 under my supervision, and entitled "Super Catalan numbers and Fourier summation over Finite Fields, available at https://unsworks.unsw.edu.au/entities...

In this video Kevin lays the algebraic groundwork for this novel approach in which the remarkable Super Catalan numbers are revealed to play an intimate role in harmonic analysis over finite fields, just as they do over the rational numbers. He also discusses the forms of the rotation groups in each of the blue, red and green geometries. This is involved in the Circular Integration functional which plays a central role in our theory.
