HOW TO GET TO YOUR HOTEL:

Like its sister island, Koh Yao Noi, Koh Yao Yai is reachable from either Phuket or Krabi. The easiest way to get to your hotel is through your accommodation's transfer service. A representative will pick you up at either Phuket or Krabi airport and take you to a designated pier, where you will board a speedboat that will bring you directly to your hotel.

The entire trip could cost $30-$70 per person one way. However, this may vary from hotel to hotel. It is necessary to contact them in advance.

Many hotels in Koh Yao Yai are located in secluded areas surrounded by dense tropical forests, making mosquitoes and insects prevalent. Although hotels and resorts strive to keep these pests away from their guests, encounters are still likely.
