Also waxed in the ‘30s by Fletcher Henderson, Erskine Hawkins, Benny Goodman and Mills Blue Rhythm, this swinger is one of four posted tracks recorded by the Chick Webb band in February 1936 and distributed to radio stations on World Program Service transcription discs for broadcast use.

As pseudonyms were commonly used on such media by artists who were currently under contract to a commercial record label, Chick Webb and Ella Fitzgerald were identified on the World disc as “Chuck Warner” and “Evelyn Fields.” See also “You Hit The Spot” “Rhythm And Romance” and “Keepin’ Out Of Mischief Now.”
