Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back - Stage 5: Crash Dash (100% Completed)

Before it was the name of a power in Crash 3, Crash Dash was first the name of Crash 2's 5th level.

Like Boulders and Boulder Dash of Crash 1, Crash Dash is a "outrun the boulder" level. This time, the boulder is snowy, electric fences are amongst the new obstacles, and Crash now shows his fear towards the boulder.

The "Crash Dash" name comes from the dash panels that show up a little later in this level. If Crash runs over these, they will give him a short burst of speed.

Near the end, breaking all of the crates will be tricky, as you'll have to break them as the boulder still rolls towards you. The boulder itself won't break them for you, usually.

Back at the Warp Room, Crash is ready to move onto the next Warp Room. Cortex returns and tells him of enemies that threaten the both of them.

He even goes on to say that Crash may remember some of them, and that they will fight him as he moves between Warp Rooms.
