ACE: things are getting better

ACE is the place with the... never mind. ACE, short for Altamont Corridor Express, is a commuter rail service in northern California, connecting San Jose with Stockton. Currently, there are only 4 round trips a day, and each trip is very, very slow. But there are major improvements coming. These include track reroutes, speed upgrades, new stations, increased frequencies, but also a brand new branch line and hydrogen trains.
