Golfo di Orosei
The Golfo di Orosei is a bay over 30 kilometres long on the east coast of Sardinia. It begins in the north at the height of the village of Orosei and ends in the south at the level of the municipality of Baunei. Several sections of the Golfo di Orosei compete for the title of "Sardinia's most beautiful bay".

Cala Goloritzè
Cala Goloritzè is located at the southern end of the Golfo di Orosei. It doesn't skimp on dramatic scenery either: a little further from the beach rises the 148-metre-high L'Aguglia rock pinnacle, which will make the hearts of climbing enthusiasts beat faster. The Arco di Goloritzè rock arch juts out into the sea.

Pedra Longa
Unlike L'Aguglia, the majestic rock peak in the Pedra Longa bay has only become the focus of attention for climbers in the last few years. There are also routes for beginners leading to this peak.

Cala Mariolu
Cala Mariolu is hardly inferior to Cala Luna in terms of beauty. Karst rocks divide the pebble beach into two parts. If you climb them, you can admire the fluorescent play of colors in the water - at least until the afternoon. Then a shadow covers the bay.

Cala Luna
The most famous bay in the Golfo di Orosei is certainly Cala Luna. Here, wind and weather have carved huge karst caves into the steep cliffs behind the beach. Like the other dream bays in the Golfo di Orosei, Cala Luna can be explored on foot or by boat. You can rent an inflatable boat in the port of Cala Gonone and explore the coast on your own. You don't need a boating license to do this. But be careful of the waves. For those who don't want to get behind the wheel themselves, Cala Gonone has excursion boats available for groups.

The idyllic Cala Luna beach in Sardinia will allow no more than 500 people at a time during the weeks of August. The authorities are trying to avoid crowds in the bay, which is particularly popular for its caves and karst caves. The 700-meter-long sandy beach is bordered by wooded cliffs to the south and oleander bushes and reeds to the west.
