We also recommend using needles with stylets instead of plungers. Especially for paraffin TMA construction. Plungers needles were never intended to be used for paraffin tissue blocks. Arraymold tested needle options over 10 years ago and found the plunger needles to be inadequate for TMA construction. That is why Arraymold is the only mold TMA instrument company on the market that doesn't use plunger needles.
