What are the Pre-order Bonuses for MW3? (Soap & Nemesis Operator Packs, 2 Weapon Vaults + More)

Pre-orders for Modern Warfare 3 are now live so in this video we’re going to take a look at bonuses included with the different versions available so you can get a better idea of what you’re going to get.

I’m not going to jump into prices cause it gets abit confusing with conversion rates and stuff like that but the pricing is basically the same as it was for Modern Warfare 2.

So there’s 3 editions of the game this year.

There’s the standard edition which is just for PC and is specific for either Battle Net or Steam depending on which you buy it on.

There’s the Cross-gen edition which is just for consoles and is effectively the same thing as the standard pc edition but this allows you to buy one copy of the game on either xbox or playstation and then play that copy of the game on either the old or new gen consoles for the platform you get it for.

And then finally like last year there is the Vault Edition which you can get for any platform.

No matter which edition you get as a pre-order bonus you’re going to instantly unlock the Soap Operator Bundle which you can use immediately in Modern Warfare 2 or Warzone 2 and also in Modern Warfare 3 with the carry forward feature this year.

This Bundle comes with two skins for Soap, There’s the Soap Masked & Soap Unmasked Skins both of which have a very low-key animation effect, Basically the topography design on his clothing moves in a similar animation to some of the recent camos we’ve gotten.

Also in the soap bundle is the ‘Shadow Siege’ Blueprint for the new M13C Assault Rifle, This one is animated in similar fashion to the soap skins.

Aswell as that no matter which edition you pre-order you’re going to get Early Access to the Beta which is rumored to take place over a couple of different weekends in October AND you’l also get Early access to the Campaign which will let you play it upto a week early just like we saw last year.

With the Vault Edition you’re going to get everything that’s included in the standard edition that we just went over but you’re also going to get the Nemesis Operator Pack which is specifically for Modern Warfare 3.

This includes 4 different skins, One for Price, Ghost, A new character called Warden and one for makarov. The wicked thing about these skins is that like you can see in the footage on screen, each of these are animated and the effect looks absolutely wicked.

On top of that you’ll get the Fate Weapon Vault for Modern Warfare 3. This looks to be 2 different vaults for the same platform but the pre-order blog post didn’t really go in to much detail about what the weapons or platforms were. We will know for sure once the beta releases tho as it was confirmed that all of this vault edition content will be available during the beta.

If you don’t really know what the weapon vaults are all about basically you get your main blueprint design on every weapon with-in that weapons family tree or platform and it will automatically unlock all attachments for those weapons as well as having different varients of those attachments which match the main blueprint design.

So you can see the two different designs that are included this time around which matches the Nemisis skins with the white and blue for Task Force 141 and the red and black for Konni.


Finally for the Vault edition you’re also going to get the Black Cell Battle Pass for Season One of Modern Warfare 3 which by default will give you 20 Tier skips and then on top of that you’ll also get another 30 tier skips which makes for a total of 50 of them which is half the battle pass. and you’ll also get 1100 cod points all of the other blackcell extras that we won’t learn about until later in the year.
