In this video, I compare what you're seeing on your TV to what your switch actually records with the new video capture feature. OBVIOUSLY the 1080p is way better, but come on and give Nintendo some slack. The fact that you can record at all on that little thing I personally think is amazing! Especially since Splatoon is such a hard game to encode!
