Cedar Point WINTER CHILL OUT 2024 f. Top Thrill 2

This year's Winter Chill Out at Cedar Point gave us an opportunity to see the new Top Thrill 2 roller coaster up close, and it didn't disappoint. I was in the 9:30 AM Iron Dragon group, and our tour took us to the C.P. & L.E. Engine House, the Millennium Force tunnels, the ever-popular Sign and Maintenance shops, and even a meet and greet with Churro! But for me, the star of the show was Top Thrill 2, and our group ended up making a few passes by the TT2 construction, thus the excess amount of footage :) WCO event filmed Saturday, February 24, 2024; Battery Park Marina footage shot the day before.

Did everything run smoothly during the event? Nope. But despite the delays and changing itinerary, I had a great time. I appreciate all the work that goes into these events, like the cool setups in the Sign Shop and Maintenance Shop and all the other stops along the way. Many thanks to all of you who worked the event -- it was a long day and all of you were very nice to me :) It was wonderful to hang out with old friends and meet some new ones. Thanks for watching!
