Saira and Jashan // A House On The Clouds Film

What can we say about this wedding- if we as filmmakers were going through a surge of emotions while filming the wedding we can only imagine the intensity of emotions that the family was going through. The silent tears and the heartbreak at the thought of your daughter leaving your home became a living, breathing, constant emotion - sometimes choking even us. Bathed in Sun’s blessings, and submerged in customs and traditions that are rarely seen across the seas, Saira and Jashan tied the knot with a reverence that their ancestors would be proud of.

Here is an ode to love, culture, tears of joy and separation.
