Join the Uncharted 4x4 Adventures as TRAVELING AUSTRALIA on THE BIG LAP. In this episode we bid farewell to the golden landscapes of Kalgoorlie and set our sights Esperance and out east.

Our journey takes an unexpected turn when we stumble upon the Lucky Bay Brewery, and after a few friendly froths, we befriend Ryan and Lauren, fellow “big lappers” from the Mornington Peninsula. As the sun sets, we find a hidden gem of a campsite at Bandy Creek Inlet, setting the stage for the next leg of our adventure.

Heading east towards Cape Le Grand National Park, we make a pitstop at Cape Le Grand Beach for a few nights of sinking beers and fishing in the tinny. I christen my new rod with a stinker of a Snook. And my god, she was DELISH.

Our journey takes us as far east as Membinup Beach, where we uncover one of my all-time favourite campsites, treated to a breathtaking sunset.

We decide to retrace our steps, making stops at Duke of Orleans, Wharton Bay, and Victoria Harbour, where an interesting night unfolds beachside. Turning back towards Esperance, we traverse the Cape Le Grand National Park, exploring its beauty, including the acclaimed Lucky Bay, Hellfire Bay, Little Hellfire Bay, and the iconic Frenchman Peak.
