🚴‍♂ The Northwoods Trails in Hot Springs, Arkansas have provided an escape for many since opening in 2018, including Hot Springs' own Cayden Parker! This week Parker gears up to compete in the UCI MTB World Cup in the Czech Republic, but it all began at The Northwoods.

"It (Northwoods) was the perfect place for me to really learn how to train and learn how to race," Parker said. With 31+ miles of mountain biking trails, the Northwoods provided Parker with a biking paradise minutes from home in Hot Springs. "Northwoods actually grew up, as I was growing up." "It was really crucial for my development." said Parker.

"To watch someone so young with an enormous amount of intrinsic motivation and passion for the sport of cycling, has been just a super cool experience. It is like our trails have grown up alongside him. Cayden has since joined the Bear National Team, been ranked in the top 10 in the world, represented USA at Worlds in Europe, and added another pair of National Championship Titles in 2022. Yet he remains humble and has given back to his community through mentoring other local youth cyclists. I am excited to see where this sport takes him in the next 3-5 years and beyond, to watch him continue to grow alongside our world class trails and one of a kind community.
