My journey began at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), where the bustling terminals and lively atmosphere were a familiar sight. As I boarded my flight, excitement mixed with a little anxiety knowing that a typhoon was affecting the region.

Mid-flight, the plane encountered severe turbulence due to the typhoon, making the experience unsettling yet unforgettable. The cabin shook as the aircraft navigated through heavy clouds, and for a few moments, everything seemed suspended in time. However, the skillful pilots and crew kept us safe and reassured.

Finally landing at Anna International Airport in Chennai brought an immense sense of relief and joy. Stepping out into the warm air, the familiar scent of home was comforting, and I was grateful to be back on Indian soil after what felt like ages away.
