In 2017, EDF is the first French company to join the EV100 initiative, carried by the non-governmental organization The Climate Group. EDF Group has made the commitment to convert 100% of its light vehicle fleet to electric by 2030. It concerns more than 40.000 vehicles, over more than 1.800 sites be it on power generation or tertiary, in France and around the world.

In 2020, it is more than 10% of EDF vehicles, used by EDF and subsidiaries which are electric.
Also, EV100 enable EDF to test and validate innovative charging solutions as the smart charging, ultra-fast charging stations, charging stations in underground parking, or new applications of fleet management allowing an easy recharge from smartphones.

EV100 is a global initiative, born in New-York at the Climate Week NYC in September 2017. Its goal is to federate large corporations and businesses on development of electric mobility.

EDF Group believes electricity plays a major role to decarbonize economies and to fight climate changes.
Transport is the first carbon emission contributor, emitting more than 30% of the French CO2.
So, beyond its own transition, EDF Group works to develop electric mobility for its clients, developing charging points across all territories, as well as electricity supply to allow private individuals, companies and local authorities to recharge their vehicles
