Everything has been quiet in Tridevyatoe Kingdom, the homeland of the characters. Ivan married Vasilisa and they “lived happily ever after” . . . except they didn’t. Ivan and the Gray Wolf spend days on end guarding the kingdom’s borders and fortifying its military power. He dreams of setting the clock back seven hours so he can sleep less and work more. Vasilisa is bored. Like any girl she dreams of romance – true romance, just like in fairy tales. And so she decides to stage her own kidnapping. But do things ever go as planned in a fairy tale?
