Adolescence is the paved walkway to everybody’s maturity. Maturity is not an event; it is a process that is affected by every factor pushing our growth into adulthood. Through the understanding of our own growth processes, we can better analyze ourselves, and the world around us. Autumn Wang is a 13-year-old freshman at Wuhan Sannew School. She has always possessed a great enthusiasm for expressing thoughts through public speech and communication. Due to her upbringing in many different countries, she’s adapted to thinking outside the box and in other people’s shoes. Autumn is also an avid debater that will never pass up a great opportunity to take sides and chat about a burning controversy. Under the rare occurrence of spare time, she’ll usually be found reading and writing stories or at swim practice. Autumn enjoys sharing common topics in her own perspective and allows for her curiosity to steer her path. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
