Here is just any easy cup cake decorating idea when you are short of time or out of ingredients. In this little video we have made some mini chocolate cupcakes and then we have decorated them with ingredients we had on hand. Using jam and some sprinkles they look gorgeous and are delicious too! INGREDIENTS:

cooked cup cakes
raspberry jam
sprinkles


METHOD:

-cook cupcakes and allow to cool
-insert a small sharp knife in the centre and cut out a hole and remove the piece of cake
-fill the hole with raspberry jam
-using a palate or flat knife, lightly smear the whole top of the cupcake with the jam
-set cupcakes aside
-(you may even want to chill the cupcakes in the fridge for about 1 hour)
-spread some sprinkles onto a flat plate
-working quickly roll the cupcake on its side into the sprinkles and roll completely around till the sprinkles cover the outer edge of the cupcake, revealing the jam centre only
-serve
-store the cupcakes in an airtight container
