In this video doctor karthikeyan explains about the symptoms of dengue fever(டெங்கு காய்ச்சல்), the method of identification of aedes aegypti mosquito which transmits the dengue fever (tiger mosquito white spots) and the clinical symptoms of dengue fever from Day 1. Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3 are supposed to be a mild febrile illness in dengue fever(டெங்கு காய்ச்சல்). Day 4, Day 5 and Day 6 are supposed to be critical periods in dengue fever(டெங்கு காய்ச்சல்). The symptoms of dengue fever are explained with the help of pictures and warning signs of dengue were explained in detail to raise awareness. Further the treatment protocol for mild dengue fever was explained followed by the warning signs of severe dengue and the management of severe dengue. Dr karthikeyan ends the video by explaining about the various short term and long term preventive measures for control of dengue virus in the future.
