1968 Type 3 Square Back
Original Blue Paint and killer Patina
original engine rebuilt to a slightly stroked 1904cc with dual baby Weber’s.
A new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing was put in at time of rebuild.

All original VW logo etched glass is good all around, but windshield is new. New front and rear Windows seals have been put in. Have new rubber for the rear back, side glass.
New rubber gaskets on front hood and rear hatch.
Overriders added to front and rear bumper. Have an OE Reverse light.
Updated to 1967 Rear reflector housings, w/OE Lenses. New gaskets for the turn signal housings along with rear brake lenses.
New stainless body trim on the belt line and lower rocker
New Gas tank seal.
All soft rubber lines have been replaced.
Tank had been removed, cleaned and new inlet sock put in
New Electrical fuel pump and screen filter located inside the tank.

Some rust but the pan is solid. Left inner fender repaired. Right could use patching. Rear trunk area has soft spots.

All ignition parts are new.

Pads, rotors, drums and shoes in good shape. New rear cylinders.

The interior is in good order, but seats could use a recover. Have decent seat covers on the front and rear seats for now. Missing headliner but have all the bows. Was going to cut the top and put on a legacy Full width/length rag top in it.
New dash pad.
All exterior and interior lights work. Even has a working clock.
Heater boxes are still on it with all the baffles, so heat is still in good working order as well.
The carpet is good but not OEM type.

Widened rear deep-dish wheels with all new tires all around.
Have all four original wheels.
One of the wheels and tires went under the hood for a full size spare.
The new Ausie style sun visor is simply clamped on. (No holes were drilled into the car)

This is a great original car. Runs, drives well and stops without any issue.

I put in new Glass lens amber headlights with very bright LED bulbs.
Have the clear headlights if you want those instead.

Turnkey and enjoy.
Perfect starting point for a restoration or drive it as is.
