🎵 Duruflé 'Choral varié sur Veni Creator' from NANCY |

In this world-exclusive, I present to you the first ever performance of the highly anticipated Aristide Cavaillé-Coll organ of Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-l’Annonciation et Saint-Sigisbert, Nancy (France).

I have decided to play the Choral varié sur le thème du 'Veni Creator' Op 4 by Maurice Duruflé as this shows off the wonderful Plein Jeu, the Positif's Cromorne, the Grand-Organ's Quinte, the strings and of course the incredible and rich 'tutti' towards the end. Be sure not to click away until the incredible reeds (including the EPIC Contrebombarde 32) has finished washing around this incredible cathedral in eastern France.

This sensational organ is available in 8 channel surround, and this recording has been made using all 8 channels with the audio loaded in 24-bit. I have placed you in the body of the cathedral, sitting around 6 rows from the back. All comments about 'too much echo' will simply be ignored.

I am then giving a live organ recital on this organ on 29th May, during which time ‪@PiotrGrabowski_Organs‬ will release the organ to the public.
