EN: Mljet is one of the largest, greenest and most beautiful Croatian islands. The island is located in close proximity to Dubrovnik, the Pelješac peninsula and the island of Korčula. The Mljet National Park covers the western part of the island. One of the most fascinating landscapes on the island of Mljet are the Great and Small lakes, connected with each other by a narrow channel. In the middle of the Great Lake is the island of St. Mary with a Benedictine monastery from the 12th century.

PL: Mljet to jedna z największych, najbardziej zielonych i najpiękniejszych wysp Chorwacji. Wyspa położona jest w bliskiej odległości od Dubrownika, półwyspu Pelješac oraz wyspy Korčula. Park Narodowy Mljet obejmuje zachodnią część wyspy. Jeden z najbardziej fascynujących krajobrazów na wyspie Mljet stanowią jeziora: Wielkie i Małe, połączone ze sobą wąskim kanałem. Na środku Wielkiego Jeziora znajduje się wyspa Św. Marii z klasztorem benedyktyńskim z XII wieku.
