The Breville Compact Juicer is used to expel juice from fruits and vegetables. Unlike a blender, it extracts the pulp and leaves only the juice.

It is a centrifugal force juicer, which uses a spinning grate in the middle of the juicer to extract the juice from the pulp when the fruit or vegetable is pressed down on the spinning disc. The pulp is expelled to the side to later be discarded.

This type of juicing is fast and effective, but it does produce foam during the juicing process. The juicer also makes a loud noise as it operates.

I paid $99.95 for the juicer at Crate and Barrel. This is the average price of this juicer at all retailers including Amazon. I have linked to the juicer below.

I chose this juicer because it’s affordable and compact. It fits beneath my counter so it can be left out easily. It’s also beginner friendly.

It has a 700-watt motor and a 3” feeding tube, so you can juice whole apples and pears without cutting them. It also comes with a brush to help clean the mesh filter.

The stainless steel finish matches my appliances and will look cute on my countertop.

I used a mesh filter, but I later realized the lid of the cup has a foam filter, so if you don’t have a mesh filter, you don’t have to buy one.
