The day F1 lost its soul

Formula 1 has seen plenty of regulation changes throughout the years but 2014 is one that stand out the most. The switch to 1.6 litre turbocharged engines was a huge moment for the sport, and what we got were engines with incredible technology, but an awful sound. The sound of these new power units were compared to that of a vacuum cleaner or hairdryer, and the shape of the noses on the 2014 cars are still talked about and laughed at to this day. When the 2014 F1 cars first came out of the pits, it truly felt like F1 lost its soul. Enjoy!
