In the next chapter of Zayn Malik and Naughty Boy’s Twitter beef, the producer has sent out a not-so-cryptic tweet that the Twitter-sphere has deemed directed at the ex-One Directioner.

The La La La producer wrote on Twitter today:

“Grow up man. the world owes you nothing. It's like you're engaged to karma. & karma is a b***h.”

Wise words, yo.

The tweet was thought to be nodding towards Zayn breaking off his engagement to Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards, who he is said to have dumped over text. What a gent.

Not long after it was sent out, Naughty Boy – real name Shahid Khan – received backlash from Zayn’s fans (and just general trolls), many of which are too inappropriate to repeat here.

More polite ones went along the lines of:

“@NaughtyBoyMusic i think you're the one who needs to grow up.”

Many other tweets urged the producer to use his @ button and just tag Zayn in the tweet himself. They can’t resist a Twitter fight!
