ASMR이란?
자율 감각 쾌락 반응(ASMR) 또는 자율 감각 쾌감 반응은 주로 청각을 중심으로 하는 시각적, 청각적, 촉각적, 후각적, 혹은 인지적 자극에 반응하여 나타나는, 형언하기 어려운 심리적 안정감이나 쾌감 따위의 감각적 경험을 일컫는 말이다.
힐링을 얻고자 하는 청취자들이 ASMR의 소리를 들으면 이 소리가 트리거(trigger)로 작용해 팅글(tingle, 기분 좋게 소름 돋는 느낌)을 느끼게 한다.

What is ASMR?
ASMR is a calming, pleasurable feeling often accompanied by a tingling sensation. This tingle is said to originate in a person’s head and spread to the spine (and sometimes the limbs) in response to stimulation. The stimuli that trigger ASMR vary from person to person. Some of the most common ones include whispers, white noise, lip smacking, having a person’s complete attention (as in having one’s hair cut by a hairdresser), as well as brushing, chewing, tapping, scratching, whispering, and crinkling.
