As requested by FoxCannon17 - Fox Gaming Channel, I'll begin covering Haydn's Military Symphony with the Pokémon DPP soundfont, starting with its first movement.

The Symphony No. 100, like all of Haydn's last twelve symphonies, begins with a slow introduction. This one is gentle at the outset but quickly becomes somewhat menacing (1:00), perhaps foreshadowing the "military" music that we'll hear in the work's second movement.
When the main Allegro section of the movement begins, it does so with its first theme presented in a unique and unforgettable coloration of a flute and two oboes (1:47). Soon, though, the affairs become cheerfully loud and exultant (2:02).
The equally charming second theme (2:57) is very similar in this fashion, ending the exposition section with a joyous bang.

After an exact repeat of the exposition section (3:30), we arrive at the noticeably more stormy development section (5:14), its biggest point of interest being perhaps the attempts by the woodwinds to repeat that same uniquely colored first presentation of the main theme in a minor key context (5:58), only to be constantly interrupted.
When the recapitulation section comes (6:31), it follows the exposition section quite faithfully as a varied repetition of it, right to the very end. Thus, this first movement ends in characteristically Haydnesque high spirits.
