(0:07) EZ Retrofit Bottle Filling Unit
(0:12) STEP 1: Remove the (4) 5/16" screws securing the wrapper.
(0:22) STEP 2: Remove wrapper by pulling straight down; set aside.
(0:30) STEP 3: Turn off water to cooler.
(0:38) STEP 4: Unplug cooler power cord from wall.
(0:45) STEP 5: Disconnect drain trap.
(0:54) STEP 6: Pressing on the quick connect, remove bubbler water line from evaporator.
(1:03) STEP 7: Using a Torx T20 bit, loosen (4) screws securing the push bar basin assembly. There are two screws located on the right and left sides of cooler.
(1:12) STEP 8: Tilt basin assembly forward to gain access to push bar wires.
(1:21) STEP 9: Pull push bar wires off of connectors.
(1:30) STEP 10: Remove basin assembly.
(1:37) STEP 11: Using Torx T20 bit, remove the (4) screws securing basin.
(1:48) STEP 12: Using quick connect, disconnect water line from bubbler. Unscrew nut securing bubbler and remove bubbler from basin.
(2:02) STEP 13: Attach bottle filler drainage tube to new basin.
(2:08) STEP 14: Connect bubbler and water line to new basin.
(2:22) STEP 15: Using a flat head screwdriver, loosen the clamp that is holding the tube. Pull drainage tube out and replace with new drainage tube. Tighten clamp to secure drainage tube into place.
(2:36) STEP 16: Using Torx T20 bit , replace (4) screws securing the new basin to push bar assembly. Connect bottle filler drain to main cooler drain with clamp.
(2:45) STEP 17: Using quick connect, disconnect water inlet from solenoid valve and disconnect water line from shut off.
(2:54) STEP 18: Disconnect end that is connected to solenoid using quick connect. Bend copper tubing down under the solenoid.
(3:04) STEP 19: Attach water inlet to filter head using quick connect.
(3:12) STEP 20: Using Torx T20 secure filter head assembly to cooler frame with (2) Torx T20 screws.
(3:23) STEP 21: Connect poly tubing to filter head. Then connect 1/4" union to poly tubing. Complete the connection by connecting the copper tubing that was bent in step (19) to 1/4" Union.
(3:31) STEP 22: Connect poly tubing with insolation to tank using quick connect. Then connect T-Union to the other end.
(3:40) STEP 23: Connect poly tubing with insolation from T-Union into the solenoid using quick connects.
(3:49) STEP 24: Tilt basin onto cooler.
(3:56) STEP 25: Connect push bar wires to cold control and solenoid.
(4:05) STEP 26: Connect bubbler poly tube with insolation to solenoid using quick connect.
(4:12) STEP 27: Resecure basin to cooler frame by using a Torx T20 bit and tightening the (4) screws.
(4:23) STEP 28: Remove (2) mounting screws, that hold the top cover to the bottle filler, with 5/32" Allen wrench. Remove top cover. Note: Do not discard mounting screws; they will be needed to reinstall top cover.
(4:34) STEP 29: Remove wall mounting plate from bottle filler. Place wall plate against wall on top of basin. Center the wall plate side to side with the basin.
(4:41) STEP 30: Mark the (6) mounting holes with a pencil. Remove wall mounting plate from wall. NOTE: Mounting plate MUST be supported securely. Add fixture support carrier if wall will not provide adequate support. Install wall mounting plate to wall using six (6) 7/16"” obround mounting holes (mounting bolts not included). Use appropriate fasteners for your wall type.
(4:49) STEP 31: Feed power cord and 3/8" water line through hole in tower/basin gasket. Install gasket on bottom of bottle filler tower with gasket support bracket, (2) washers, and (2) screws.
(5:01) STEP 32: Fish the power cord and water line through the hole on top of water cooler. NOTE: To prevent scratching the basin, place a towel or soft cloth over the entire basin when working above it. Fish the purple wire (single units) or the purple and yellow wires (bi-level units) up through basin hole and hole in the gasket.
(5:12) STEP 33: With the power cord, wire(s), and water line through the hole on top of water cooler, place the bottle filler on the (3) angled tabs protruding from the wall mounting plate, installed on wall. Make sure round boss in gasket fits in hole of basin.
