For years, people have asked me about my connection with pie - and it's a true love story I'm excited to share. This sweet tale started in the middle of nowhere, Kansas - thanks to the help of my family, especially my Grandma Jeanne.

I hope it helps anyone watching understand why I love food so deeply, and believe in the deep rooted connections it can bring. Most of all, I hope it shows why I love to share my love of baking with anyone who wants to learn.
