I stumbled onto this artist conk while hunting for chanterelles, so I thought I'd showcase it this week. It is a relative of Reishi (Ganoderma lingzhi) which is a famously medicinal mushroom, the jury seems to be out on whether this Ganoderma has similar healing effects. As with much natural medicinal products, it's hard to find the medical research to back up the claims.
