Kashmiri Chai

Ingredients for Kehwa:

Water 5-6 cups
Kashmiri tea leaves 3 tbsp
Green cardamom 10-12
Cinnamon stick 1-2
Star anise 2-3
Cloves 5-6
Baking soda 1/4 tsp
Ice water 2 cups

Ingredients for Kashmiri Tea:
Milk 5-6 cups
Prepared kehwa 1 cup
Sugar 3 tbsp
Salt 1/2 tsp

Directions for Kehwa Preparation:
In a pot heat water and add kashmiri tea leaves, green cardamom, cinnamon sticks, star anise, cloves and cook for 10-15 mins.
Now add baking soda and cook for 5 mins. Add ice water and mix it well. Strain and set aside. Your Kehwa is ready.
Directions for Kashmiri Tea Preparation:
In a pot heat milk and add prepared kehwa, sugar, slat and boil it for 1-2 mins.
Your Kashmiri Tea is ready. Serve and enjoy.
