CENTIPEDE BITE ADVICE!

I got bit by a centipede last week, it was excruciating! The dahlin creature bit me on my pinky toe while I was out on evening walk with my doggies. I had no idea what had happened, but within minutes, I was in agony radiating up my leg. I put a pic on facebook and got lots of responses, by which time I was too delirious to carry out much of the advice. I did however, go back to my yorkshire gal roots and drank a lot of whisky, did a lot of screaming and shouting and swearing, until I was unconscious.
The next day, after my hangover was gone and I could see, I looked at all the advice - here's the main stuff you apparently need to know - and have on hand. So God help you if you are a tourist - just go the ABC shop and get a bottle whisky and drink it on your way to the ER!
If you're at home, and have a helpful person around and a well stocked kitchen - you could:
Make a paste with baking soda, or ripe papaya or a tomato, or clay!
I hope you are never unfortunate enough to get bit by one of these creatures - but according to my FB posts, its pretty common .
Here I am 11 days later, the last 48 hrs the toe has become very very itchy and red. not a good sign. So today i put some honey on it, took a prednisone and made the famous baking soda, clay turmeric paste!
