Yamaha 4 Stroke Outboard Engine Carb Rebuild Series [4] Component Reassembly

Описание к видео Yamaha 4 Stroke Outboard Engine Carb Rebuild Series [4] Component Reassembly

Part four begins with the cleaning of all of the brackets to ensure a good mating surface. There was a large amount of buildup of grime on all surfaces where o-rings meet, After which it was time to swap out the remaining O-rings before assembly. The assembly bolts and washers were also cleaned. The hose I had to cut earlier needed to be replaced and had arrived for this swap-out.

One side of the carb, with the thinner O-rings had trouble. 93210-35M86 did not seem to fit correctly on the carb. I had some real concerns about this one and opted to clean and reuse the existing ones.

The silencer box, bolts, washers and brackets are staged for reassembly, adding the carbs and temporarily securing them with m6 bolt until everything looks good and tightening down to the back bracket. Torques down from the center outward. An inspection through the carbs is done to see that none of the o-rings shifted during assembly, after which all remaining hoses are reattached and cable tied.

Finally, the accelerator pump is installed onto the assembly. all hoses routed as per the service manual and the linkage reconnected. Finally the common throttle linkage is reattached to the four carbs completing this portion of the project.
