Haas 40 taper 7500rpm spindle bearing removal how to guide

Описание к видео Haas 40 taper 7500rpm spindle bearing removal how to guide

I finally get round to removing the bearings from the Haas 40 taper 7500rpm belt drive spindle

This video shows how to remove the bearings and heat shrink collars from the spindle and what tools i used to do it

I also give the bearing numbers that were removed from this specific spindle which may or may not be different to your own spindle so always check first before ordering new bearings

My bearings were as follows

Upper spindle bearings
NSK 7010 CTR DUL P3
50mm ID x 80mm OD x 16mm thickness

Main spindle bearings
NSK 7012 CTR DUL P3
60mm ID x 95mm OD x 16mm thickness

Both sets of my spindle bearings have the same code which denotes the following
70 = extra light series
10 = 50mm bore size / 12 = 60mm bore size
CTR = 15 degree contact angle with Phenolic cage
DU = Duplex Universal
L = Light preload
P3 = Precision rating
