Well, just a quick & sleazy one for y'all! Raise your hand if you knew there was an Easter egg built into QBasic! (LIAR!!!) We'll take a look at that toward the end of the vid, but first we have a simple (pointless) little program featuring a quirky text-based Easter egg, that I hope you'll find entertaining, or at least interesting. Keep in mind, this is just ONE technique to embed a frivolous piece of code into a larger program, but the possibilities are endless - you might incorporate timers, mouse or joystick functions, any number of inputs, animations, even sounds into your own Easter eggs - the only limit is your imagination!

Well, that's about it for now, so go ahead - download the source code, run it, tinker with it, tear it apart & mold it into whatever your warped little minds can invent! Just remember to have FUN doing it! I mean, the whole PURPOSE of an Easter egg is to inject a bit of fun, humor & whimsy into an otherwise functional, run of the mill program, so just go nuts with it & show off a bit!
